Terms of Service
The agreement between you and SisiDesk when you create an account or run a workspace.
Last updated 28 July 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account, joining a team, or using any part of the SisiDesk service, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. Questions about these terms go to terms@sisidesk.com.
2. The service
SisiDesk provides persistent virtual workspaces that stream to a browser, along with the control plane used to create, run, share and meter them. The service is currently offered in beta: features may change, and we will give notice of material changes to how workspaces run or are billed.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for activity under your credentials; enable multi-factor authentication where offered.
- Accounts are for a single named person. Sharing one seat between people is not permitted; add team members instead.
- Notify us immediately at hello@sisidesk.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions, metering and payment
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval you selected until cancelled.
- Each plan includes pooled compute hours; usage beyond the pool meters per minute at the published rates.
- Usage is shown in your cost ledger as it accrues, and invoiced in arrears at the end of each period.
- Fees are exclusive of tax unless stated. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; metered usage already incurred remains payable.
- Invoices unpaid after 14 days may lead to suspension. Billing disputes go to payment@sisidesk.com within 30 days of the invoice date.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use a SisiDesk workspace to:
- Break any applicable law, or infringe another party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Mine cryptocurrency, run distributed denial-of-service tooling, or resell raw compute capacity.
- Send unsolicited bulk email, host malware, or run credential-stuffing or scanning activity against third parties.
- Attempt to breach tenant isolation, probe other customers' instances, or circumvent metering.
- Store material that is unlawful where the workspace region is located.
- Run production workloads that require certifications we have not claimed on our security page.
We may suspend a workspace immediately where continued operation threatens the platform or another customer. Where safe to do so, we will tell you first and explain why.
6. Your data and content
You retain all rights to everything you create, install or store inside a workspace. We claim no licence over it beyond what is strictly needed to operate, back up and restore the service at your instruction. You are responsible for holding the licences for software you install.
7. Availability and support
We target 99.5% monthly availability of the control plane during beta. Beta service is provided without a contractual service level credit; published targets are commitments of intent, and paid service levels will be offered at general availability. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
8. Termination and data return
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach, unlawful use, or non-payment after notice. On termination, workspace volumes are retained for 30 days so you can export them, then permanently deleted.
9. Warranties and liability
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, SisiDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, and our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to account owners by email at least 14 days before taking effect; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
