What exactly am I getting — a virtual machine or an app?
A full persistent desktop running in an isolated instance, streamed to your browser. You install and run real applications inside it exactly as you would on a local machine; the difference is that it survives your device and can be opened from anywhere.
Which operating system does the workspace run?
Linux workspaces are available first, with Windows workspaces following in the beta. You choose the image at creation time, and each workspace keeps its own persistent volume across restarts.
How fast does it actually feel?
We hold a P95 target of 80 ms glass-to-glass inside your home region. The measured round trip for your live session is displayed in the session viewer, so you can verify it rather than trust it.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Workspaces suspend rather than delete. Your persistent volume is retained for 30 days after a subscription lapses, during which you can export it or reactivate. Deletion after that window is permanent and logged.
Can SisiDesk staff see inside my workspace?
No. Search, OCR and embeddings run inside your tenant boundary, and the control plane has no read path into workspace storage. Support access requires an explicit, time-boxed grant from you and is written to your audit log.
How is usage billed?
Compute is metered per minute of running session time, storage per GB-month, and egress per GB. Every line item appears in your cost ledger before it appears on an invoice. Billing questions go to payment@sisidesk.com.
Can I get my environment out if I leave?
Yes. Volumes export as standard disk images and your data is yours. We publish no-lock-in as a design constraint, not a courtesy.
