SisiDesk started from a frustration that most remote work tools never solved: your files sync, but your working environment does not.
The problem we are solving
Cloud storage solved file portability fifteen years ago. What it never solved was context — the open branches, the configured toolchain, the render in progress, the twenty tabs that are actually the memory of a project. That context still lives on one machine, and when the machine changes, it is gone.
SisiDesk moves the whole workspace into a region you choose, keeps it running, and streams it to any browser you can reach it from. The context stops being a hostage of the hardware.
Who it is for
Engineers who need a heavier machine than the one they travel with. Designers and editors who need GPU capacity for hours, not months. Distributed teams that need to onboard a contractor in ten minutes and offboard them in one. Anyone who has ever lost a week to a failed drive.
The device is disposable
A laptop is a window, not a home. Everything that makes a workspace yours should survive the hardware it happens to be displayed on.
Intelligence stays inside the boundary
Indexing and search run in your instance. We removed our own ability to read your files rather than write a policy promising we would not.
Metering you can audit
Every minute and every gigabyte appears in a ledger as it accrues. An invoice should confirm what you already knew, not reveal it.
No lock-in by design
Volumes export as standard disk images. If we stop earning the subscription, leaving should take an afternoon, not a migration project.
Where we are today
SisiDesk is in private beta. The control plane — accounts, workspaces, the session broker, metering, billing, teams, device trust and audit — is live, and we are opening access in cohorts as regional capacity comes online. Progress and engineering decisions are written up on the blog.
