Every organisation with contractors, agencies or a distributed team is running bring-your-own-device in practice. The usual response is device management software on machines the company does not own — an arrangement nobody enjoys and few configurations survive.
Move the boundary, not the agent
If the work happens in a streamed workspace, the personal device holds pixels and input events. Source code, customer data and credentials never land on the local disk, so there is nothing to wipe when the engagement ends. Offboarding is a revoked session.

What still needs care
Streaming does not defeat screenshots, cameras or a compromised endpoint capturing keystrokes. We are explicit about that. What it removes is the largest and most common exposure: months of accumulated company data sitting on a laptop that leaves with someone.
The safest copy of your data on a contractor's laptop is the one that was never written there.
